**10/7/24 - EMERGENCY WATER REPAIR ON DDE-BETWEEN ALKII WAY & HILO STREET**

The Diamondhead Water & Sewer District is conducting an emergency water main repair on Diamondhead Drive East, between Alkii Way and Hilo Street in Diamondhead. Interruption in services is required to make the emergency repairs.
Services will be restored as soon as possible.
Precautionary Boil Water Notices will be issued to ONLY those residents in the affected area.
During emergency shutdowns water line sediments being disturbed can sometimes cause discoloration in the water. This is not harmful, and the water is safe to drink.
If this occurs in your lines, a simple flush of your faucets for a few minutes should clear up the cloudiness that can sometimes occur.
When the precautionary boil water notice has been lifted, those residents will be notified.
