**EMERGENCY WATER SHUTDOWN ON HILO PLACE**

**EMERGENCY WATER SHUTDOWN ON HILO PLACE**

The Diamondhead Water & Sewer District is conducting an emergency water main repair on Hilo Place in Diamondhead. Approximately 19 residents will be affected.

Services will be restored as soon as possible.

Precautionary Boil Water Notices will be issued to those residents in the affected area.

During emergency shutdowns water line sediments being disturbed can sometimes cause discoloration in the water.  This is not harmful, and the water is safe to drink.

If this occurs in your lines, a simple flush of your faucets for a few minutes should clear up the cloudiness that can sometimes occur.

When the precautionary boil water notice has been lifted, those residents will be notified.

Please use caution in this area when workers are present. If you have questions, please call the District office at (228) 255-5813 (Press 0).

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this emergency repair work.
