TEMPORARY WATER SHUT DOWN ON 4/25/23 & 4/26/23-FOR SMALL AREAS SHOWN BELOW
April 24, 2023
** UPDATE: ALL PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER ORDERS HAVE BEEN LIFTED**
**TEMPORARY WATER SHUT DOWN ON 4/25/23 & 4/26/23 (BAYOU,MALAHINI,HALEIWA) SMALL AREA AS DETAILED BELOW:**
On April 25, 2023, the Diamondhead Water & Sewer District will conduct a temporary water shut down on Haleiwa Place (13 customers), and Bayou Ct/Cr (6 customers). On April 26, 2023, we will have a temporary shutdown on Malahani Place (3 customers). The affected customers have been notified.
Services will be restored as soon as possible.
Precautionary Boil Water Notices will be issued to those residents who are in the affected area. During shutdowns water line sediments being disturbed can sometimes cause discoloration in the water. This is not harmful, and the water is safe to drink.
If this occurs in your lines, a simple flush of your faucets for a few minutes should clear up the cloudiness that can sometimes occur. When the precautionary boil water notice has been lifted, those residents will be notified.
Please use caution in this area when workers are present. Any questions, please call the District office at (228) 255-5813 (Press 0).
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this work.
