Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

To Our Valued Customers,

Along with the entire Diamondhead Water & Sewer District Team, I would like to take this opportunity to assure you that the well-being of the Districts customers and personnel remain our highest priority.

District management has been monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, including guidance from the Hancock County Emergency Management Agency as well as the Mississippi Department of Health along with Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and other health officials.
The District has expanded normal disinfection precautions/methods within and around our facilities.  District management has instructed all personnel on how to protect against transmission of the virus, including hand-washing protocols and thorough cleaning of surfaces and high traffic areas.

The District will continue monitoring coronavirus (COVID-19) updates and will respond accordingly based on the advice of public health and safety officials.
Additional information about the coronavirus (COVID-19), may be found through the Mississippi Department of Health, Hancock County Emergency Management Agency, Centers for Disease Control or World Health Organization.

In the abundance of caution as the COVID-19 Virus spreads, although the office remains open, we would like to ask our customers to utilize electronic payment methods, phone calls, and online services to avoid personal contact in the office lobby until further notice.

Visit the Diamondhead Water & Sewer District website at dwsd.us for more information and access to various electronic forms.

Please pay attention to advice or guidelines from local health and safety officials to keep you and your family safe. Together, we can make a difference.
