**THE PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE HAS BEEN LIFTED**

**SCHEDULED WATER SHUTDOWN ON AMOKA DR., AMOKA CT., KALEKI PL., & KALEKI CT.  04/16/2024**

The Diamondhead Water & Sewer District will conduct a scheduled shutdown for Tuesday, 4/16/2024 due to the City drainage project.   

The District contractor will be lowering the existing water main on Amoka Drive in order to accommodate the City of Diamondhead’s installation of a larger drainage pipe.  

The shutdown map area includes: Amoka Dr., Amoka Ct., Kaleki Pl., and Kaleki Ct. To see a map of the area click here.

Water will be restored as soon as possible.

Precautionary Boil Water Notices will be issued to those residents who are in the affected area.  During shutdowns water line sediments being disturbed can sometimes cause discoloration in the water. This is not harmful, and the water is safe to drink. 

If this occurs in your lines, a simple flush of your faucets for a few minutes should clear up the cloudiness that can sometimes occur.

When the precautionary boil water order has been lifted, those residents will be notified.

Please use caution in this area when workers are present.
