Temporary Water Shutdown on Hapuna Place 9/29/26

On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, the Diamondhead Water & Sewer District will conduct a temporary shutdown of water services on a section of Hapuna Place. 

Water service will be restored the same day upon completion of the work.

Precautionary Boil Water Notices will be issued to those residents who are in the affected area. 

During water service interruptions, sediment in the water lines may be disturbed, sometimes causing discoloration. This is not harmful, and the water is safe to drink. 

If you experience discoloration, flushing your faucets for a few minutes should clear the water.

When the precautionary boil water notice has been lifted, affected residents will be notified. This process normally takes two(2) business days. 

Please use caution in this area when workers are present.
