Temporary Water Shutdown on DDE - Aila Street 6/30/2026

The precautionary boil water notice has been lifted.

On Tuesday, June 30, 2026, the Diamondhead Water & Sewer District will conduct a scheduled shutdown of water services on a section of Diamondhead Drive East, along with one resident on Aila Street.

Water service will be restored the same day upon completion of the work.

Precautionary Boil Water Notices will be issued to those residents who are in the affected area.

During shutdowns water line sediments being disturbed can sometimes cause discoloration in the water. This is not harmful, and the water is safe to drink.

If this occurs in your lines, a simple flush of your faucets for a few minutes should clear up the cloudiness that can sometimes occur.

When the precautionary boil water order has been lifted, those residents will be notified, which normally takes two(2) business days.

Please use caution in this area when workers are present.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this work.
